Mi Mi and P-Paw's Visit

It was so good to have Mi Mi and P-Paw come up for a weekend visit... We had a great time! Saturday was full of golf, good food, pedicures, and a pretty hostile game of hearts... =) Sunday was pretty low-key... Just food, naps, and more cards... Leighton will miss her Mi Mi and P-Paw but it won't be long before they are back for some more fun... Last, but not least, please keep my mom in your prayers as she is having some minor knee surgery on Wednesday... We will be thinking about you Mi Mi and we love you!!!

Sad to See Si Si and Mammo Leave

We are all sad to see Si Si and Mammo head back to Austin...  Leighton is especially sad because they had so much fun hanging out at the house together...  We know that they will be back soon so it makes it all better... =) Thank you both so much for everything! Don't wait too long before coming back for another visit...

A Summer Fun First

Jeff, Leighton and I had a nice and relaxing weekend just hanging out at the house... This afternoon we decided to introduce Leighton to her very first swimming pool... It was not too bad but we didn't hangout long... She even has her very own raft to relax in... Fun times!

Leighton's First Day at School

Well the time has come for Leighton to start school and for me to go back to work.  We both did really good for the first week back.  I am not sure which one I was worried about the most.  =) She even had new pjs to wear for the occasion from her Mi Mi.  They had birds on them!

Our Trip to Franklin for July 4th

Before starting day care, we took a trip to Franklin to celebrate July 4th and Aunt Lori's birthday.  We had a great time visiting with family, playing with fireworks, and Jeff and I had date night.  It was good to see everyone and get out with Jeff before things got really busy with me going back to work.  While we were there Leighton started trying to roll over for the first time.  Although she has a long way to go, we are so proud.  It is so much fun watching her grow and change.

My cousin Shelley was also in town from California with her family (daughter Sophia and husband Myron) for the 4th.  Even though we didn't get to hang out too much, we were able to meet up for breakfast on the morning of the 4th.  My cousin Jessie was also there with her little girl Kensli.  It was really nice to have all three of our girls together for the first time.
